Motivate Yourself

To motivate is to encourage, to mentally support the change to come and to embrace it with everything you have.

Well folks, it’s not always that easy to come by. It’s an all-too familiar feeling brought on by the daunting tasks of the day ahead. But are they really that daunting? Are they really so scary and un-managable that you can’t think to do them? Why?

I challenge you to think differently for a day or two, and to try to see what is stifling your motivation – is it the sheer amount of tasks to do, or perhaps, your mindset?
Too often we find it’s simply a state of mind that deters us from trying something new, changing an old habit, or going somewhere different. But thinking in a new direction could lead you down a path you’ve never been on before with some opportunities you’ve never considered.

It’s easy to say next time/tomorrow/eventually, but try to be honest with yourself. Realize that it’s okay to take a break whenever you need one, but why quit if you could keep going? Why not focus on your goal and put more than the bare minimum of your effort towards it!? The payoff will be great when you realize you are stronger than you ever thought you could be!
